Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

YardSwaps does not sell your personal information for money. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, run targeted ad campaigns, or use automated profiling that makes binding decisions about your account. Two service providers process product analytics on our behalf. PostHog runs only if you accept analytics, and you can opt out of it below. HeyCatch runs on the website for every visitor, and our servers also report sign-ups, listings, Boosts, and subscriptions to it; this opt-out and Global Privacy Control do not turn it off (see below). Separately, Cloudflare, which delivers the website, counts page views and measures page speed for every visitor without cookies; this opt-out does not cover it either.

What this affects

PostHog product analytics: event tracking tied to a random ID, not your account, that helps us understand which features are used. Opting out stops all capture from this browser.
HeyCatch analytics: not affected by this opt-out, the cookie banner, or Global Privacy Control. On the website it records the pages you view, what you click (except on private content such as your messages and the personal details in your account settings), scrolling, device and browser details, the link that referred you, and your IP address, and, once you sign in, your account ID, email address, name, plan, and sign-up date. Our servers also report your sign-ups, listings, Boosts, and subscriptions to it, including those made in the mobile app. To object to HeyCatch analytics or ask us to delete the HeyCatch data linked to you, email privacy@yardswaps.com.
Targeted advertising — we don't do any. If we ever begin, the same opt-out applies and we will not enable any new sharing without re-consent.
Sale of personal data — we don't sell data. This opt-out is your standing instruction that we never may.

Other rights you can exercise

Right to know — download a JSON copy of every record we hold about you via /api/auth/export (must be signed in). For the analytics HeyCatch holds about you, email privacy@yardswaps.com.
Right to delete — from Account → Settings use the Delete Account action. Cascade-deletes every record in our database; password re-entry required. HeyCatch analytics are deleted only when you ask at privacy@yardswaps.com.
Right to correct — edit your profile, listings, and preferences from /profile.
Right to portability — same JSON export above is portable to any service that accepts JSON.
Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of these rights does not change your access, features, or pricing on YardSwaps.
